This is a permanent position, located in Ghent (Belgium)
We are looking for a Senior Sales Development Manager to grow new business through Sales Development including lead detection by prospecting new potential customers, exploring inbound leads and other creative activities that lead to sales opportunities and growth. The first focus of the position will be to generate new sales leads and attract new customers for the Pozyx Enterprise Sales solutions unit.
You will actively steer the Global expansion and growth of our Enterprise products and solutions together with (and reporting directly to) the Commercial Officer. Evangelization of our company Enterprise products and solutions, analyzing customer needs and engage next steps to create the best in class customer offer to win the deal will be your key priorities. Furthermore, you will demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and can do towards customers and colleagues, be an international ambassador for Pozyx in line with the company values.
You have a strong affinity and interest in
the Industrial IoT environment, can capture technical customer requirements and
identify customer product fit with the Pozyx Enterprise solution on both
functional and technical level. You are tech savvy and can fluently build a sales
conversation with CTO’s and engineers.
For this International Sales Development position with HQ located in Ghent (Flanders), we are looking for a dynamic person with following key responsibilities:
Business Development – identifying, growing, developing and closing business opportunities
Develop Sales Development plan including analysis of customer segment, competitor analysis, business trends, and market opportunities
Scan the key focus markets for specific Enterprise solutions and develop strategies to acquire new customers
Work closely with the Inside Customer Champion to build a sales funnel and follow up the inbound qualified leads
Build and maintain your own pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales results
Optimize proposals with customer insights and conduct sales presentations onsite, by Skype or any tools available
Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly PST (Pozyx Sales Target) based on volume growth and revenue increase
Act as a liaison between the customer and the Pozyx teams (technical, marketing, operations, …)

First experience in (IT/ IOT) Sales Development
Fluent communication skills in English, Dutch (extra languages are a benefit)
Demonstrated skills in understanding customer needs
Passionate about IoT and technology with the ability to understand the technicality of the product and skills to understand and translate technical requirements
Skilled in engaging onsite and online customer contacts, including cold calling potential clients and prospects
Ability to develop relationships at multiple levels within an organization and to multiple functions
Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
Experienced in funnel management and accurate forecasting
Open to a creative and dynamic working culture, willing to travel when necessary
Must be a self-starter and able to operate with limited supervision
