Support (and test) engineer

We are looking for a technical colleague with a can-do attitude who wants to take a deep dive into our Creator system. As a support engineer, your main task will be to help our Creator system customers with technical problems, which will often require you to recreate their use case and experiment with the system. Our ideal candidate is therefore someone who loves to tinker with our Creator product.

Next to helping our customers and experimenting with the system, you will also proactively work on making the customer experience of our system better by writing tutorials and performing quality tests.

Office location: Vrijdagmarkt 10, 9000 Ghent. Team size: 25.

Task description

  • Solve the technical problems of our Creator customers.
  • Make small prototypes and proofs-of-concept for specific customer applications.
  • Tinker, puzzle, test, and experiment with our products.
  • Communicate with the R&D team on how to improve the system.
  • Write tutorials and documentation to help customers.
  • Describe and perform tests for the complete system.

Your profile

  • You have a technical or engineering degree.
  • You like to help our customers succeed. 
  • You love to experiment with technology.
  • You have experience in Python.
  • Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi or similar prototyping platforms is a plus.
  • You have experience in setting up computer networks.
  • You are fluent in English, written and oral.
  • You can work both in team and independently and are good at prioritizing your work.
