How indoor tracking works
GPS signals don't reach inside buildings. The Outdoor + Indoor tracker solves this with passive Wi-Fi positioning.
The tracker goes indoors
When the tracker loses its GPS fix under a roof, it starts listening for surrounding Wi-Fi access points.
Location is resolved in the cloud
Detected access points are sent over cellular and matched against a global Wi-Fi location database.
One map, indoors and out
The Pozyx Platform shows the indoor position on the same map as outdoor GPS positions.
