Gemba Systems is very fortunate to have established a collaboration with Pozyx to address many shop floor challenges at existing and new customers. The team behind Gemba Systems had been supporting manufacturing companies with operational excellence consulting for many years, when Industry 4.0 came along and emerging smart manufacturing technologies were starting to show real promise and actual results related to process control and continuous improvement. One of the most useful and easiest to implement solutions that came along, is real-time location tracking.

The ultra-wide band technology developed by Pozyx allows for very accurate positioning and tracking of equipment and materials, even in dense and harsh environments. It enables Gemba Systems' customers to visualize and measure waste that used to be hidden. As a result, Gemba Systems is able to help its customers eliminate search and wait times, excessive walking and transportation, defects and mistakes, and many other typical issues that plague most shop floors. While Gemba Systems focuses on use case definition, installation, integration, configuration, and end-user training, Pozyx supports with customer-specific technical design, such as anchor layout, and any trouble-shooting and tuning needed. Based on real-world experience and customer feedback, Gemba Systems and Pozyx work together very closely to identify useful further functionality and features to be added to the out-of-the-box Pozyx solution. Together, Pozyx and Gemba systems are able to support our shared customers with RTLS-based solutions that really work and bring tremendous value, driving quick and significant bottom-line results.
